White Deer Park & Lake Benson Park
White Deer Park is a predominantly passive park that is sensitive to the environment, preserves wildlife habitat, and is aware of its impact on surrounding areas. The park provides educational opportunities, promotes health and wellness within the community and serves as an example of environmental responsibility and stewardship. A seemingly 4 mile stroll, we will be meeting in the parking lot nearest the Nature Center.
Remember, this does not necessarily have to be a Unit event…please spread the word to our Scouting families and promote the hikes as “family events”!
All you need to bring is a good pair of walking shoes, plenty of water and your enthusiasm.
Nature will provide the rest! We hope to see you on the trail. Rain or shine
