DisTort Series - Club Culture

After a small summer break we are delighted to announce our return as we take over Corks late night venue @liquidloungecork for our new series Club Culture. A Techno driven party with a stripped back atmosphere centred around inclusivity while delivering immersive intimate experience at the forefront. which takes place on Friday 20th of September.

We are delighted to kick off this series on one of the most important nights on the yearly calendar (Culture Night) as music art and culture are celebrated throughout the day and night and we are happy to be bringing along a stacked line-up for this one. Our focus is to shine a light on local Dj / Producers and show the level of talent and diversity within the scene right now. Cork nightlife has been thriving as of late and we are so happy to be carrying the torch in the city for Techno amongst many great events dispersed all around the city and county.

Kicking things off on the night we have a young Dj and producer and someone we have been keeping an eye on as of late due to his impressive approach to Djing and the quality of his own productions @jamielaw.ie

Next up we have a lady who is no stranger to the local scene playing between house and techno in many different venues around the city already with each set even more impressive than the last @meg_ismname

Closing things off @distort_series boss @riastartha will be joined by arguably one of the top talents in Cork right now a Dj who's sets are always flawless and consist of highly skilled transitions and eclectic track selection @emilydjdunne

This night will also focus heavily on local music producers in Ireland within the Techno/Groove realm. So to artists all over the island here is your public service announcement to get your tracks into us before the 20th of September so we can support your work and play your music out.

Music styles supported are Techno (Deep/Rolling/Groove) only. Please do not send styles outside of this as we want to get through all music sent to us which could result in an artists music not being heard

Tickets are €5 before 11:00 and will be €10 after that and are available on Eventbrite
