The Distinguished Citizen Award is given to an individual in our community who personifies the values of Scouting: Model Citizenship, Character and Leadership.
This event serves as the primary fundraising initiative for Twin Rivers Council, providing crucial resources to support character-development programs for youth across 13 counties. Through the years, Scouting has been instrumental in instilling values such as duty to God, duty to country, duty to others, and duty to self in young people.
The Twin Rivers Council is dedicated to preparing young people to be responsible, contributing citizens over their lifetime by stilling values based upon the Scout Oath and Law.
