Dissolves is a fuzzed-out surf sludge power trio from Taos that blends heavy surf, sludge, and fuzz-pop into a loud, hypnotic sound that's quickly made them one of northern New Mexico's most exciting young bands. Their high-energy live shows and acclaimed self-titled debut capture the raw power and chemistry that's earned them a devoted following.
The Blank Tapes is the multi-instrumental psych-pop project of California-based musician and visual artist Matt Adams. Known for a signature "beach party" lo-fi aesthetic, the project blends 1960s psychedelic rock, surf-pop, hippie funk, and garage rock. Operating primarily out of Joshua Tree, California, Adams has historically tracked much of his music on a vintage 8-track cassette recorder, creating a warm, nostalgic sound heavily influenced by iconic artists like The Beatles, The Kinks, and Creedence Clearwater Revival.
