Kindred Drama and KYT are absolutely delighted to present Disney's Newsies Jr as a special Easter holiday treat on Saturday 12th April at 3pm and 6pm.
Newsies Jr is a vibrant, energetic junior adaptation of the hit Disney musical. Based on the real-life Newsboys Strike of 1899 in New York City, this musical tells the story of a group of young newsboys who take on the powerful newspaper publishers to fight for fair treatment and better working conditions.
The incredibly talented young people from Kindred Drama’s Easter Workshop will bring this compelling and uplifting tale of resilience, friendship, and the fight for justice to the Key stage for one day only. With its engaging characters, powerful music, and inspiring message, it continues to captivate audiences of all ages, reminding us of the strength and determination that can arise from unity and courage.
