Inspired Minds Art Center Youth Musical Theatre presents Disney's Descendants: The Musical!In the kingdom of Auradon, the benevolent King Beast and Queen Belle have banished all villains and their minions to the remote Isle of the Lost, where they remain trapped and powerless. Now, Prince Ben, their son and heir to the throne, makes his first official proclamation—he invites four troublemaking children from the Isle to attend Auradon Prep and live among the children of heroes. Mal, daughter of Maleficent; Evie, daughter of the Evil Queen; Jay, son of Jafar; and Carlos, son of Cruella de Vil, must decide whether to embrace their wicked roots or choose a different path.
As they navigate their new lives in Auradon, the villain kids face challenges, including fitting in at school, discovering friendships, and dealing with their parents’ expectations to carry on their evil legacies. Torn between following in their parents’ footsteps or forging their own destinies, the four must make a choice: will they help Maleficent take over Auradon, or will they write their own story? Filled with high-energy songs, exciting dance numbers, and plenty of heart, Descendants: The Musical is a thrilling journey of self-discovery, acceptance, and the power of choice.
