Dislocated Ground: practices for an out of sync ecology | 離地生態：邊傾邊諗點創作

Once under our feet, wetland ecologies connected Hong Kong and Shenzhen, forming a shared bioregion. As the two cities urbanised along shifted timelines, the ground beneath them became artificial, while the unnatural speed of urban life further desynchronises us from the ground our socioecological histories emerged from.

Curated by a Paris-based team, this soirée, Dislocated Ground: practices for an out of sync ecology, brings together four international practitioners working across art, design, and architecture, each offering their own method of reconnecting with the ground. It is an invitation to spend an evening slowing down, in a collective exploration of ideas such as embodied intimacy, performative sculpture, new materialism, utopia, and engineered ecologies.

The event is part of the pre-exhibition programme for jet lag garden, opening September 23 on the rooftop garden atop CTI PARK in Shenzhen.

The soirée is co-curated by mil.lieux and HAAU architecture studio, supported by Eaton Hong Kong.

The event will be in English, with the possibility to receive questions in Cantonese.

【離地生態：邊傾邊諗點創作】由駐巴黎團隊策劃，邀請四位來自藝術、設計與建築界的國際創作人，分享她們各自如何在創作中重新與土地同步。此晚我們誠邀大家一齊慢落嚟，一齊探索和傾透不同的想法，如身體媒介、行動雕塑、新物質主義、烏托邦與人造生態。
此活動為《時差花園》國際藝術展前活動之一,該展覽將於9月23日在深圳CTI PARK中軸頂上天台花園開幕。
是次晚會由 mil.lieux米地 及 酵建築 共同策劃,並得到香港逸東酒店支持。活動將以英語進行,並可以廣東話提問。
