If you’ve got fresh art supplies waiting to be used or you’ve promised yourself more time to get creative in 2026, January's Discovery Saturday is for you.
We want to show you how inspirational archives can be. Perhaps some historic photographs will be the inspiration behind writing a new short story, perhaps an illuminated engraving will spark a love of calligraphy, or perhaps your sketch pencils are itching to create something based on the Somerset landscape.
Browse our pop up display, including a selection of documents from our unique archive collections, for inspiration. After browsing, you’re welcome to stay and create, jot down ideas, or simply chat with fellow creatives in a relaxed, friendly space.
