Over 18s only. 🌃 Inspired by International Woman’s Day, this after-hours Discovery Nights: Wonder Women event celebrates remarkable women connected to the North East, with an evening of hands-on activities/crafts, live music, historical objects and archives, talks, a bar and food.
🌃 Be the first to see Discovery Museum’s exciting new acquisition, the costume worn by actor Brenda Blethyn as TV’s eponymous Vera, the North East detective created by author Ann Cleeves - who will also join us for a short reading and Q & A.
🌃 A chance to mingle and meet, or chill and stroll through the museum dipping in and out of activities, to enjoy the museum at night and kick back.
