Join us as we look at maps and photographs from the War Department detailing the location of the anti-invasion defences installed during 1940. We explore the heath visiting the ruins of an anti-tank ditch, a pill box and other structures so evocative of Studland's part in the defence of Britain during those early years of the war.
Recommended minimum age: 14. U18s accompanied by an adult.
The walk is approximately 2.5km, on soft sand with 2 to 3 inclines.

There is water bottle filling station next to the toilets. Assistance dogs only please. ANPR in place at Knoll Beach car park, please remember your car registration for the parking machines (free for National Trust members and blue badge holders).
