Discovering the Renaissance: An Art & Culture Workshop for Kids
Step back in time and immerse yourself in the wonders of the Renaissance! In this engaging art class, children will explore how this incredible era transformed art, science, culture, and literature. Through stories, fun facts, and creative discussions, kids will learn about famous artists like Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo, scientific discoveries, and the blossoming of literature and ideas during this golden age.
The hands-on activities will let children craft their own masterpieces inspired by the techniques and styles of the time, such as fresco, fabric printing, and even designing their own inventions! This workshop is perfect for budding artists, history enthusiasts, and curious minds eager to explore the beauty and brilliance of the Renaissance.
Hands-on activities will include mosaic, fresco, metal work, printing on fabrics and sculpting!
