Join us for a special afternoon talk with Charlotte Villiers, Learning and Public Programme Manager at Leighton House Museum, as she shares the fascinating story behind one of Kensington and Chelsea’s most iconic historic homes.
Leighton House, once the studio-home of Victorian artist Frederic Leighton, is a unique museum where art, architecture, and history come together. Following a major restoration, the museum has deepened its focus on community engagement, accessibility, and inclusive storytelling.
Charlotte will guide us through:
- The rich history of the house and its artistic legacy
- Highlights from the recent transformation project
- How Leighton House is evolving to welcome new audiences through creative learning and outreach programmes
This talk is part of the Kensington & Chelsea Over 50s Forum Art, History and Culture Series, and promises to be a lively and insightful look into how heritage sites can inspire, connect, and serve their local communities.
Refreshments provided.
