Discover Volunteering at Waverley Care

Waverley Care is Scotland’s leading HIV and hepatitis C charity. Everything we do is guided by the experiences of the people we work with, from shaping the services we deliver to influencing national policy around sexual health and blood borne viruses.

Our vision is for a Scotland where no one faces HIV alone. We will achieve this by fighting stigma and empowering people living with HIV to live full and healthy lives.

We will be hosting an evening for anyone interested in any of the varied and interesting volunteering opportunities we have available with us – come along and find out how you could get involved in assisting the work of Waverley Care, supporting people living with, or affected by HIV or Hepatitis from personal interactions, through public outreach and activism to even helping create unique performance pieces.

Full onboarding training is offered to all of our volunteers with optional modules depending on what roles you may be interested in. We aim to make our training fun as well as informative and our volunteer team get involved in many social activities as well as regular volunteering roles, so it is a great opportunity to make new like minded friends.
