Discover the Orchestra: Animation!
About this Event
Sponsored by the Purcellville Arts Council
Looney Tunes, Pixar, anime -- what makes these beautiful animations come to life? The music! Join Loudoun Symphony Orchestra and Loudoun Symphony Youth Philharmonic Orchestra for a family adventure to discover how classical music and classic animation have been woven together for nearly a century. This program will feature familiar works used in Looney Tunes and Fantasia, as well as newer pieces from Up, How to Train Your Dragon, Beauty and the Beast, and more!
Experience the wonders of orchestral music in a relaxed and fun setting. Arrive early to enjoy pre-concert activities including crafts and an instrument petting zoo where children and adults can see, touch, and try out musical instruments with the guidance of our musicians.
