Join us for “Discover the Docent Program,” an introductory session for those interested in learning about our volunteer opportunities, docent responsibilities, training requirements, and the benefits of volunteering with the McFaddin-Ward House Museum.
Attendees will hear from current docents about their experiences, have the opportunity to ask questions, and enjoy a guided tour of the historic McFaddin-Ward House. Whether you’re passionate about history, enjoy working with people, or are looking for a meaningful way to give back, this session is the perfect first step toward becoming a Museum docent.
There’s no obligation to become a docent—this session is simply an opportunity to learn more about the program, get to know our volunteer community, ask questions, and enjoy light refreshments.
