In addition to an introductory talk on the history and philosophy of Japanese rope art, you’ll engage in hands-on exercises designed to help you build a fluent and solid connection. We'll explore concepts of intention, emotional safety and communication precision, along with practical safety guidelines to ensure a positive and safe experience. By the end of the course, you will have gained the foundational knowledge, needed to develop an interaction with the means of rope.
Who is this for?
The course is designed for couples—romantic or platonic—who want to learn together. Solo participants are also welcome. Our studio is supported by wonderful volunteers who are happy to assist during the course. If you’re attending solo, please contact us before booking to confirm availability.

Language
The course is given in Dutch if all attendees feel comfortable. In all other cases, the course is given in English. One-on-one corrections can also be given in French or German.
Equipment
Ropes are available to use during the course. Suitable rope can also be purchased at the studio.
