Welcome to DISCOVER COMMUNITY CAFE PRESENTS GET-HYPE OPEN-MIC! September Series hosted by Oakland raised author and poet, . Join us for this FREE EVENT at on Friday September 12th from 7-9pm for an open mic like no other.

Whether you're a poet, musician, comedian, or storyteller, here is your opportunity to share your work to the world. We will be featuring the incredible multi-instrumentalist and singer, performing a full set of original songs and covers. Don't miss out on the most hype open mic around!

Open Mic Guidelines:

1. Each performer is allowed to perform 2 pieces (poems, songs, etc) but 8 mins max.

2. Depending on the number of sign-ups, some performers might have the chance to perform twice.

3. We will have a bluetooth speaker for backing tracks but be patient with the tech.

4. Please support the cafe with a purchase (or 2).
