For those interested I will be giving a talk on the history of Barnoldby le Beck on Thursday 11 July at St Helen's Church. This new talk will look at the village origins, to some of its notable residents, the history of the church and a glimpse into the legend of the Black Grim.
All proceeds to the Friends of St Helens, Barnoldby le Beck who are fundraising for the upkeep of the church. Tickets cost £5 and include refreshments.
