Disclosure Day

Disclosure Day follows a massive government conspiracy surrounding extraterrestrial life. The story centers on Daniel Kellner (Josh O’Connor), a cybersecurity expert and whistleblower, and Margaret Fairchild (Emily Blunt), a Kansas City meteorologist. Margaret begins speaking in an alien language during a live broadcast, signalling a worldwide event. Daniel discovers he is uniquely able to translate her messages and decides to disclose the alien communication to the world, challenging powerful forces determined to suppress the truth.
The film explores the psychological and societal impact of undeniable proof of non-human intelligence. Rather than focusing on alien invasions, it emphasizes human reactions, fear, and the destabilizing effect of absolute knowledge.
