Discernment is for Everyone!

The Commission on Ministry invites laypersons from across the Diocese for a daylong Discernment Is for Everyone! retreat at St. Paul's, Salem. Discernment Is for Everyone! is a new curriculum being developed by the Commission on Ministry and the Diocesan Support Center designed to support and encourage faithful listening to God’s call in your life.

You can expect:

• A space to discern alongside others what lay ministry or ministries you are called to in our Church,
• To learn about how to practice discernment as a regular part of your spiritual practice,
• To learn more about licensed lay ministries in our Church,
• Shared resources that may be used to practice ongoing discernment individually and as a community.

This retreat will be facilitated by members of the Commission on Ministry and the Canon for Lifelong Formation.

Cost: $12 (to help cover food). Coffee, tea, and lunch will be provided, with dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegan options.
