� Hosted by the disAbility Resource Center, this informational session will cover:
-What Consumer-Directed services are and how they support independent living
-Pay rates and the role and responsibilities of a personal care attendant
-How to apply and what to expect
-Tips for success, communication, and emergency planning
-What it’s really like to support someone with a disability in daily life
In order to be a Consumer-Directed Personal Care Attendant, you must:
� Be 18 or older
� Have a Social Security number
� Bring a willingness to learn and help others!
Whether you’re new to caregiving, a student, a retiree, or someone looking to make a difference—this session is for you!
