Disability Pride Storytime

Join the Winona Public Library and SEMCIL (Southeast Minnesota Center for Independent Living) at the library for a special storytime in celebration of Disability Pride Month, observed every July. Disability Pride Month honors the history, achievements, and vibrant diversity of the disability community, while encouraging inclusion, visibility, and joy.
Children and their adults are invited to enjoy stories that celebrate belonging and difference, followed by a craft inspired by the themes of the day. It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn together, create together, and uplift the voices and experiences of our community.
