Disability Pride at Scope's Community Hub in Leeds

July is Disabilty Pride Month! 💪

Come celebrate it with Scope on 5 July at the new Community Hub in Leeds.

• 12pm: Event starts with an accessible board game session by Cards or Die
• 1.15pm to 2pm: Lunch served by Leep, a local disabled-led cafè
• 2-4pm: Comedy show by Leeds' disabled collective "You Can Laugh You Know"

At Scope’s brand new Leeds hub there’s completely flat access throughout, plenty of room for anyone with mobility issues and multiple accessible toilets. Its central location is ideal with both the train and bus stations 8 minutes walk away. Stewards will also be on hand to point you in the right direction. There are additionally no flashing lights and assistant dogs are very welcome.

We are the disabled-led comedy night You Can Laugh You Know and we would like to welcome you to our latest extravaganza.

We showcase a range of disabled talent from emerging comedians to established names on the British comedy circuit!

Expect an afternoon full of empowerment, jokes that challenge you and lots of laughter.

To celebrate disability pride combined with the opening of the new Scope hub in Leeds, we are bringing you a rare afternoon of family friendly comedy!

This show will be at 2-4pm with a 20-minute interval during this time.

This comedy afternoon of delight will be hosted by the amazing Benny Shakes and will feature comedy from:
