Celebrate Cinco de Mayo weekend with Dirty South Volleyball at Briscoe Park in Snellville for a Reverse Coed Doubles Volleyball Tournament!What is Reverse Coed Doubles? Teams will consist of 1 male and 1 female player. Net will be set at women's height. Only women can hit and block at the net. A male player can attack the ball above the net if they take off from before the 10 ft. line. If the male player is in front of the 10 ft. line, the contact point must be below the height of the net.
**CASH AND MERCH PRIZES**
All divisions will have cash and/or merchandise prizes.
The divisions and registration costs are as follows:
A Division - $80 per team ($40/person)
BB Division - $80 per team ($40/person)
Play will consist of round robin pool play to determine seeding. Playoffs will be single elimination bracket play.
Rules and other logistics:
1. Short court will be used in all divisions.
2. Wilson OPTX ball will be used in all divisions.
3. Finger action across the net is not allowed, except when blocking and jousting.
4. Open hand receives are not allowed on serve.
5. Open hand digs are allowed only on hard driven attacks.
6. Block is not a touch.
7. Only women can hit and block at the net.
8. No substitutions!
Registration fee is $80 per team before April 29th, 2024. Starting April 29th, the late registration fee will be $90 per team. Please Zelle payments to [email protected]. No cash will be accepted. When submitting payment, include the team name in the description. Refund window closes May 1st at noon. Your spot in the tournament is not guaranteed until payment is received!
