Handbuilt Ceramic Ornament Workshop
Event Overview
This is a festive, beginner-friendly pottery workshop where guests create three handmade ceramic ornaments to decorate their Christmas trees or give as thoughtful, handmade gifts.
You will be through the basics of handbuilding with clay, including shaping, sculpting, and adding decorative details. Guests can create 3 festive ornaments designs with guidance from Hannah Suttora from Dirty Dishes Ceramics, which they can take home in time for the holidays.
Relax, socialize and enjoy coffee, drinks, and snacks while getting creative.
What's included:
- Step-by-step instruction and demonstrations
- All clay, tools, and materials
- Creation of 3 ceramic ornaments per participant
- Glazing and kiln firing of completed pieces
- String or ribbon for hanging
- Pickup of finished ornaments approximately 3–4 weeks after the event
No prior pottery experience is necessary!

Duration: Approximately 2 hours
Capacity: 20 participants
Ticket Price: $115 per person
The ticket price includes a drink voucher from Kona Coffee & Tea, all materials, instruction, glazing, and firing of three ornaments.
Event Itenerary
3:30 PM — Arrive and settle in. Mingle with fellow guests, order a drink, and take a look at the ornament samples while choosing the designs you’d like to make.
4:00 PM — Ornament-making demo. Hannah will walk you through the process and show you how to make your ornaments.
4:15 PM — Make your ornaments. Create your designs with hands-on guidance and support from Hannah along the way.
5:45 PM — Clean up. We’ll wrap up the workshop by tidying our workspaces.
