Twenty years in, and we’re kicking off Season 20 the best way we know how — by bringing our people together for a weekend of dirt, adventure, food, music, and community.
Join us March 20–22 for Dirt Don’t Hurt, a special anniversary weekend at Mulberry Gap that’s designed to feel a little different than a typical stay — more energy, more connection, and a whole lot of celebrating how far we’ve come (and where we’re headed next).
Expect a choose-your-own-adventure vibe with organized group outings for mountain biking, gravel riding, trail running, hiking, and ADV/moto — all led by friends, locals, and longtime Gap supporters. Ride hard, wander far, or just soak it all in.
We’re planning shared meals, casual hangs, maybe a burrito or two, a mountain of pizza, and live music to round out the evenings. Add in limited-edition event swag & stickers, stories from the trail, and plenty of time to just be together, and you’ve got the idea.
This weekend will be open to overnight guests and day pass folks, with options similar to our early Bearhoti Bike Fest days — welcoming, inclusive, and built for all user groups.
Mostly, this is about celebrating 20 seasons of dirt, grit, growth, and community — and saying thank you to everyone who’s been part of the journey.

Unlike most weekends, we plan to participate in this one as much as possible so we can be out there riding and celebrating 20 years of Mulberry Gap in the woods with the community that made it all possible. Each and every one of you has supported us along the way, and we’re incredibly grateful. Whether coming for the day or full weekend – we’d love to celebrate this milestone with you! - K & A
Join us for a relaxed, celebratory weekend marking 20 seasons at Mulberry Gap. This is a come-as-you-are gathering with optional activities, shared meals, live music, and plenty of time to explore the Cohuttas or simply soak in the community that makes this place special.
Friday | Welcome to the Gap
5:00 – 10:00 PM
5:00 PM – Arrival & casual hangout
Get settled, grab a drink, reconnect with old friends, and meet new ones. A memory slideshow from 20 years of Mulberry Gap will be playing in the background throughout the evening.
6:00 PM – Group dinner (provided and included)
7:00 – 9:00 PM – Live music
Kick off the weekend with live music, camp vibes, and good company.
9:00 – 10:00 PM – Campfire + casual hang time
Wind down, swap stories, or head off for a good night’s sleep.
Saturday | Choose Your Own Adventure
8:30 AM – Late Evening
8:30 AM – Breakfast (provided and included)
9:30 AM – Choose your own adventure in the Cohuttas:
Mountain Bike – Gravel – Trail Run – Hike – Adventure Motorcycle Ride
Or enjoyed a laid-back day around camp or surrounding towns of Ellijay & Blue Ridge
Shuttles begin at 10am and must be reserved in advanced
Activity “leaders” may help folks group up, but all activities are self-led and not guided. Come prepared with your own gear, navigation, and adventure plans.
Afternoon – Free time
Explore at your own pace, grab lunch on your own, nap in a hammock, or wander back when you’re ready.

7:00 – 9:00 PM – Live music
After 9:00 PM – Campfire & hang time
Sunday:

11:00 AM – *Reminder* Guests must be checked out of cabins or campsites by 11:00 AM, unless a late checkout has been arranged for an additional fee.
Lunch – On your own
Arriving Early or Staying Late? If you’d like more time to settle in (or don’t feel like rushing out), you’re welcome to arrive early or extend your stay. Just note that formal event activities will run Friday through Sunday.

PRIVATE PREMIUM HILLTOP COTTAGE PACKAGE (Fri-Sun) - ~$417 per adult Does your group/family have a MINIMUM of 4, MAXIMUM of 5? Reserve Hilltop, complete with private bathroom, kitchenette, laundry, etc. Come spend your weekend in style! 1 Queen Bed and 3 Twin Beds. **NOTE: To avoid double booking - If you reserve Hilltop, you must have 3-4 other guests ready to book at this price at the same time. The first reservation will hold the cabin, and we’ll work with you to set up reservations within 24 hours to book the rest of your group.**
PRIVATE PREMIUM SQUIRREL’S NEST CABIN PACKAGE (Fri-Sun) - ~$395 per adult Does your group/family have a MINIMUM of 4, MAXIMUM of 6? Reserve Squirrel’s Nest, one of our newest cabins with two levels, balcony, spiral staircase, and private campfire patio. 2 Queen Beds and 2 Twin Beds. **NOTE: To avoid double booking - If you reserve Squirrel, you must have 3-5 other guests ready to book at this price at the same time. The first reservation will hold the cabin, and we’ll work with you to set up reservations within 24 hours to book the rest of your group.**
PRIVATE SOLO/DUO CABIN PACKAGE (Fri-Sun) - ~$382 per adult Housing in one of our small cabins (Pinhoti Way or Fox Den) ideal for 1 or 2 folks. Comfortable, private cabin with a set of twin bunk beds.
SHARED BUNKHOUSE PACKAGE (Fri-Sun) - ~$358 per adult Housing in one of our standard shared cabins (men, women, any gender, or with a group of friends). These cabins all come with a comfortable king or queen bed and a set of twin bunks
PRIVATE CAR/VAN CAMPING (with Electricity) PACKAGE (Fri-Sun) - ~$217 per adult Vehicle-based camping in one of our car/van slips with a parking space and shared fire circle / picnic table. Ideal for folks with a van, RTT, or other in-car camping.
SHARED CAMPSITE PACKAGE (Fri-Sun) - ~$217 per adult Car or Tent Camping in one of our shared sites (Group 1 or 2, Barn 1 or 2)
PRIVATE CAMPSITE PACKAGE (Fri-Sun) - ~$206 per adult Tent or hammock camping in one of our small tent sites (Brook Camps 1, 2, 3, or 4) ideal for 1 - 4 on a 10x10 tent pad.
CAR/VAN PARKING LOT CAMPING PACKAGE (Fri-Sun) - ~$201 per adult Inside-vehicle camping for folks who don’t need to spread out, set up an awning, etc. This is intended for people who will be fully contained in their van/car/RTT/etc.
