Summer is almost here! For our final Dirt Day of the year, we will learn all about alligators; from their behavior to habitat!
Join the Florida Master Gardeners and Friends of the Parks as we learn about these mighty reptiles and their role in the ecosystem.
This program will include a live reptile presentation, a tram tour, and more!
To celebrate the end of our 2024-2025 Dirt Day Season, this day will also include a hot dog cook-out for all who sign-up.
Fun for the whole family!
Date & Time : Saturday, May 3rd, 10:00am-12:00pm (Doors open at 9:30am and the program starts promptly at 10am.)
Location: This program will be held at the Polk's Nature Discovery Center Classroom. (See map for details.)
Tickets & Sign-Ups: Tickets and registration are required for this event. Tickets are free, but limited. Tickets are for child participants. Sales start, Tuesday, April 1st, at 12:00pm.
