SUNDAY MORNING DIRT CHURCH (non-denominational MTB ride)This recurring MTB ride is not a Bike The Woodlands event. It is a community-based group ride.
TIME: 9 AM on Sundays (weather/trail conditions permitting)
PACE: 10-12 mph average
DISTANCE: 15-20 miles
REQUIRED:
(1) helmets;
(2) suitable bike in good working condition;
(3) water; and,
(4) all minors must be accompanied by parent/guardian
NOTES: please arrive early enough to be ready to roll out at 9 AM.
There is a bike stand/work station/pump at the ropes course. Don't count on the pump working, but the Township tends to have it in working order. Bring what you need to be self-sufficient (e.g.: multitool, supplies to fix a flat).
There are bathrooms at the Rob Fleming Recreation Center and also at the ropes course. There are water fountains at both of these spots too.
This is a social ride - not a race. Let's ride and make this a regular thing.
