Director's Event: "Sense of Beauty" at the Museum of Art

Join the Honors Director for a guided tour of the "Sense of Beauty" exhibit at the BYU Museum of Art. We are delighted to have Dr. Elliott Wise, Associate Professor of Art History & Curatorial Studies, lead our Honors group on this tour and provide insight into the depiction of saints and religious devotion

Six hundred years of artistic beauty unfold in this stunning exhibition from Museo de Arte de Ponce. In The Sense of Beauty, we invite you to feast on inspiring works of religious devotion, bask in harmonious scenes of daily life, explore the wonders of the natural world around us, and marvel at the reverence with which painters depicted figures with mythological, historical, or personal significance.

Meet in the MOA lecture room (386 MOA) at 4 pm for a brief introduction, followed by the tour. We'll enjoy refreshments outside the lecture room (foyer) after our tour!
