REGISTRATION THROUGH YOUR CHURCH PARISH IS REQUIRED
The Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux, through the Office of Worship, invites all couples who are married in the Catholic Church and are celebrating their 25th, 40th, 50th, 60th, or greater wedding anniversary during 2026 to attend the annual Diocesan Wedding Anniversary Celebration. The celebration will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Francis de Sales in Houma and will be celebrated by Bishop Simon Peter Engurait. A reception will follow.
Couples wishing to participate should contact the parish office no later than Friday, September 18, 2026 to register. Registered couples attending the diocesan celebration will receive an inscribed diocesan anniversary certificate following Mass and will have the opportunity to have their photograph taken with Bishop Simon Peter Engurait.
