Dinosaurs and Superheroes Fun with Mayo Agard-Olubo - Waterstones Taunton

Join prize-winning author Mayo Agard-Olubo for an inspiring, creative session full of dinosaurs and superheroes, as he takes you into the world of his debut picture-book Kid Rex to the Rescue. Mayo's event for young children explores how the world around us can inspire magical stories, guiding them in creating their very own superhero characters using the superpower we all have at our fingertips: imagination!

Mayo Agard-Olubo is the winner of the Mo Siewcharran Prize 2023! He's a writer and poet based in London who writes fiction in prose and verse for children and young adults. He is also a winner of the A Writing Chance writing competition, a London Writers Award, and a FAB Prize Highly Commended Award. He has been longlisted for The Jericho Prize, is a graduate of the HarperCollins Author Academy and has had articles published in The Bookseller and the New Statesman.

Suitable for ages 3-5 years

The Child Book & Ticket bundle includes a copy of Kid Rex to the Rescue (RRP £7.99), available for collection at the event.

Please note that ticket holders 16 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult but parents/guardians accompanying their children to this event do not require a ticket (one accompanying adult per child with ticket.)
