Meet the Utah Tyrannosaur Institute and Ethan Harvey
The is a developing dinosaur museum and paleontology organization in Springville, Utah, dedicated to tyrannosaurs, fossils, prehistoric ecosystems, scientific research, and public education. Its vision brings together original fossils, research-quality replicas, hands-on exhibits, collection care, and engaging scientific storytelling.
The Institute matters because Utah sits at the center of some of North America’s most significant dinosaur country. A specialized, public-facing museum gives Utah residents, students, researchers, and visitors another place to explore deep time, understand how paleontology works, and see how new discoveries reshape what we know about prehistoric life.
Ethan Harvey is the paleontologist and driving force behind the Utah Tyrannosaur Institute. During Dinosaur Trivia and Fundraiser, Ethan will bring his scientific knowledge and passion for prehistoric life to the competition, help guide the trivia experience, introduce guests to the Institute’s mission, and share why tyrannosaurs remain one of paleontology’s most fascinating evolutionary stories.
Support from this event helps move the Institute closer to welcoming the public and developing the exhibits, educational experiences, fossil preparation, collection resources, and research-centered programming needed to bring the museum to life.
