UTC-05:00Location
National Railroad Museum | De Pere, WI
Step back in time and experience the golden age of rail travel with an unforgettable evening aboard the National Railroad Museum’s Dinner Train. This year, for the first time ever, you’ll have two exclusive evenings to choose from, each featuring a different chef and a fresh take on fine dining, history, and hospitality.
Your experience begins at 5:00 p.m. with drinks and hors d’oeuvres on the platform, followed by a brief presentation on historic dinner trains by our Education Director, Justin Lambrecht. Then, you’ll board either the 1930s Silver Spirit Lounge Car or the 1920s Dothan Dining Car, where you’ll enjoy a five-course meal as the train circles the grounds, gliding over the high bridge at sunset with views of the Fox River and Dutchman Creek.
Choose your date and dining experience:
Thursday, September 11 – Culinary creations by Iron Duck Restaurant
Thursday, September 18 – An elegant menu by Plae Bistro (Please note: this menu cannot accommodate nut or dairy allergies.)
2025 also introduces our new Social Seating Experience!
Couples who book in pairs will be seated together with another party of two. It’s a delightful way to connect with fellow guests, share stories, and enjoy a nostalgic return to the communal charm of traditional dining cars. Parties of four will have their own table.
Whether you’re celebrating something special or simply love great food and history, the Dinner Train promises a night to remember.
Tickets are $150 per person and must be purchased in groups of 2 or 4. Availability is limited, and reservations fill up fast!
All proceeds benefit the Museum’s educational programs, including our at-risk student fund, which brings enriching experiences to children in underserved schools.
