Pastor Mike Ogle and the members of In His Presence Missionary Baptist Church would like to welcome you to come visit a great church, meet some great people, eat some good food, have a good time and help a great cause! There will be live music and plenty of entertainment.Westins story:
Westin was born December 19, 2024 at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC with a rare type of congenital heart disease called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. He has to have 3 open heart surgeries to survive. Westin underwent his first major heart surgery on January 31, 2025 at 6 weeks old and is now on his path to recovery. He is the biggest newborn to ever have the Norwood procedure at 13 pounds and 23 inches long. Because of his size and his growth rate, he will have to have his second surgery much sooner than his care team originally thought. It was recommended that Westin, his parents and big brother remain in North Carolina until after Westin is released from his second surgery. The timeframe is unknown but is expected to be lengthy. With this being said, his family needs your help. The cost of living in NC and away from home is very high and hard on them. Any form of support is very appreciated and a major blessing to the Marshall family.
