Celebrate the beauty of our coastal ecosystems with Friends of the Dunes at the Dine by the Sea event on Saturday, October 4, from 3-6 p.m. at the Humboldt Coastal Nature Center in Manila. Take in the stunning ocean view while savoring local wines, brews, cocktails and mocktails, perfectly paired with gourmet hors d'oeuvres crafted by Brett Schuler Fine Catering. Sway to live music as you indulge in culinary delights featuring locally made cheeses and freshly grilled Humboldt Bay oysters while taking a moment to raise a glass for coastal conservation. This beloved fundraising event not only promises an unforgettable afternoon but also plays a crucial role in advancing coastal conservation initiatives and helps provide free outdoor education programs for children throughout Humboldt County.Local band Hyperion will have guests grooving and dancing as they are committed to sharing their love of 70's funk and soul music with the community through their heartfelt performance. Meet artist Aldaron Laird at a special book signing! Learn about the dunes and bid on incredible local works of art, DuneXclusive experiences, staycations, and much more during our silent and online auctions. For those who prefer non-alcoholic beverages, we will be serving artisanal ginger beer and mocktails.
Tickets cost $85 and Friends of the Dunes members receive a special $10 discount. This event is known to sell out quickly, so don’t miss your chance to be part of this wonderful occasion!
