About this Event
Join special guest Drew Murdoch, Library Technician and cataloguer at WBPL, for an informative session and step-by-step demonstration on how to use the library’s newest devices to convert analog media into digital files.
In this session, you will learn:
- How to operate the Kodak Scanza for digitizing slides, negatives, and 8mm film.
- How to use the Epson FastFoto for quick scanning of printed photos in various sizes.
This introductory session is required before you can use the WBPL Digitization Station independently. Drew will guide you through the entire process to ensure your cherished memories are safely preserved for the future. Learn how to organize, merge, and digitize your historical photos and older media formats for easier management of your family’s history.
