BEGINNERS’ PHOTOGRAPHY - 6 WEEK COURSE (15 HOURS)About this Event
This is a six week course running at the same time every week.
Do you have a camera you rarely use but would like to learn how to? Have you ever wanted to take better photographs but have never had time to learn properly? This course could be for you.
This is a 6 week course for beginners to learn basic controls and compositions with their cameras. This course aims to help you develop your basic understanding of photography. Perfect for beginner photographers who want a solid introduction on how to use their camera correctly and produce photographs successfully.
Learners will be taken step by step through the basic operations of their specific camera. Topics will include: using the zoom or focal length to compose an image; focussing techniques to keep your subject sharp; choosing correct modes for different situations; controlling your white balance, resolution and ISO; and adjusting your exposure to improve your photographs.
At the end of the course learners will be able to
Name and identify parts of your camera
Create correctly focussed images
Adjust exposure for different lighting situations
Recognise different compositional techniques in photography
