The Vienna Institute for Global Studies (VIGS) proudly invites you to the European Edition Launch of the Digital Entrepreneurship Ecosystem (DEE) Index.

This milestone event presents the first regional assessment of digital entrepreneurship ecosystems in Europe, examining how digital readiness across countries in the region translates into entrepreneurial opportunity. The event brings together policymakers, entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, and international relations specialists to discuss how digital ecosystems can foster inclusive innovation, competitiveness, and sustainable economic growth across Europe.

The Digital Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Index (DEE Index) assesses and compares how countries build and sustain digital entrepreneurship ecosystems. It identifies where digital potential is successfully transformed into entrepreneurial outcomes—and where structural gaps remain.

The DEE Index European Edition Report examines how countries across the region convert digital readiness into entrepreneurial opportunity. It serves as both:

• a compass for understanding national and regional digital dynamics, and
• a roadmap for strengthening digital entrepreneurship ecosystems in Europe.
