North East Chamber of Commerce Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) team & the Local Skills Improvement Fund (LSIF) team would like to invite you to a Digital (cross cutting) employer engagement event at Darlington College.

Please join us to hear all about what has been implemented owing to work carried out via the LSIP & LSIF ‘’You said, we did’’.

What to expect

• Networking & Refreshments.
• Have a go at the new VR software created in conjunction with Tees Valley Colleges to meet local skills needs, developed by Animmersion.
• Learn about updates in curriculum and digital equipment.
• Hear about full immersion digital suites and virtual reality to present real life, interactive scenarios to students so to meet local skills needs.
• Hear about AI Robot manikins (brand name) responding in real time to students to aid communication skills.
• Gain an understanding of new short, specialist courses.
• Discussion sessions to provide feedback and share ideas.
• Tour of the new Health Care Hub - features a bespoke realistic simulation training suite to replicated industry standard health care setting, several flexible training manikins, social care space and doctors surgery space.
• Tour of the new Renewable Energy Space – features clean energy installation bays focusing on the fitting and testing of solar power, air source heat pumps and EV charging stations.
