DIG DAY — NWTA x Fat Tire Farm

Who is leading this party?

Join the Fat Tire Farm in the Southern Zone of Rocky Point to build a brand new trail with steep, natural terrain.

What is the timeframe for the day?

9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

What is the scope of work for the day?

We will carpool from the Rocky Point main lot to the start point on Skyline. We’ll be hiking in ¼ mile to 1 mile to clear corridors, establish tread paths, and build supportive catch-berms.

Note:

Safety meeting starts at 9:00 a.m.

Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to ensure that you are ready to roll. We work in all weather, so come prepared for the elements.

What to bring:

• Work clothes: Long sleeve shirt, pants, boots, gloves, eye protection, and jacket.
• Hard hat or bike helmet (mandatory)
• Water
• Snacks
• We recommend NOT bringing a bike. There is no access to any other ridable trails.
• Optional: Favorite trail tool; hard rakes, McLeods, hoes (we have tools, but please feel free to bring your own)
