Justine Lee is the Co-founder and Director of the Autistic Psychedelic Community. She earned her BS in Neurobiology and MS in Pharmacology from UC Irvine, where she conducted neuropharmacological research under the direction of Dr. Amal Alachkar and Dr. Olivier Civelli. She has now shifted her focus from academia to advocacy around psychedelic therapy and developing resources for neurodiverse adults. Guided by her personal experiences and practices as an autist, as well as the countless stories shared by community members, Justine has a unique and compassionate approach. She developed a first-of-its-kind course, "Psychedelic Care for Neurodivergent Clients," where she teaches valuable insights and practices for those working with neurodivergent populations in psychedelic therapy. She continues to facilitate APC's weekly virtual peer-support meetings and provides professional consultations to those seeking to deepen their understanding of neurodivergence.

Andrew Shahan has spent the last 35 years working with and learning from autistic and developmentally disabled children and their families in early intervention programs, healthcare organizations, public schools and universities. Andrew holds a BA in psychology and a master’s degree in early childhood special education and has deep training and experience in developmental, relationship-based approaches. Andrew believes wholeheartedly that the voices of autistic and neurodiverse individuals and their families must guide all efforts to improve care. He has unshakeable faith in the power of families to support their children’s development and the power of professionals to provide care with greater authenticity, sensitivity, cultural humility, acceptance and love. His current focus is enabling parents and professionals to recognize and build on the strengths and unique communication of autistic children. Andrew is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and provides neurodiversity-affirming training, coaching and consultation to families, professionals and organizations.

Rebecca Kronman (LCSW) specializes in helping creative individuals cope with anxiety and depression, often related to life transitions, family issues, trauma, or the pressures of creative work. She also provides preparation and integration support for psychedelic experiences. Known for creating a safe and trusting environment, Rebecca offers empathetic and experiential therapy, often incorporating collaborative homework to facilitate lasting change. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Hunter College, with postgraduate training in mindfulness, somatic intervention, and psychedelic integration. Rebecca started her career working with unemployed adults and those in the criminal justice system, and she currently runs Plant Parenthood, a community for parents using psychedelics. She opened her private practice in 2015 and is an assisting trainer with Fluence.

Andrew Rose is a psychedelic educator, harm reduction and integration coach, certified mindfulness teacher, and the co-director of Plant Parenthood. He has been working with psychedelics and meditation for over 20 years and has been educating therapists and the general public about psychedelics since 2017 with organizations like Mindspace, Numinus, and Fluence. He is a father to two boys, one of whom is neurodivergent.
