Join Juneau Lyric Opera for a fully staged production of Johann Strauss’ comedic masterpiece, Die Fledermaus—a sparkling return to the operetta that launched JLO in 1975!Follow Gabriel von Eisenstein as he’s lured to a dazzling masquerade ball, where mistaken identities and clever disguises—including his wife as a mysterious Hungarian countess—set the stage for a night of hilarious chaos. Will this whirlwind of champagne, deception, and mischief lead to forgiveness? Join us to find out!
Directed by Kathleen Wayne and conducted by William Todd Hunt, this lively show promises dazzling music, humor, and a glamorous party scene. We’re thrilled to welcome back renowned tenor David Canglosi as Gabriel von Eisenstein.
