Dickens Open House

Twenty years of sharing the holiday with winery guests, Elk Run continues its Holiday festivities. Located on a property from the 1700’s, the winery and vineyard is the perfect location for experiencing some to the Christmas traditions of the past.

Guests are invited to join us for readings in the parlor of the Wine maker’s home circa 1756.  The house in dressed in Christmas of the 1800’s and serves period cookies and appetizers with a glass of wine, mulled wine or warm cider. This is free to children and $15.00 per adult. Performers read pieces from Dickens, and various timely period pieces. Performers are dressed in period customs.
