Gig by South London Singer Songwriter Dick Philpot who is a guitarist, harmonica player, ropey pianist and occasionally a film maker.Expect Dick's own songs including a few with a local flavour such as Raynes Park, Down by the Railway and Working Piece Time plus some classic covers.
Dick latest album is called Fighting for the Sinner or the Saint was released in 2025 and featured Norwegian pianist Lars Hammersland. A recent live album @ the Sound Lounge also featured Lars and good friend the Keiron Marshall on lead guitar..
Dick has a long history of playing music which have included stints at the Troubadour and all the different manefestations of The Sound Lounge. Dick is also know to many for having worked with Billy Franks (The Faith Brothers)and having hosted and run over 7 years of weekly music nights and open mics at the Nelson Arms.
