🌟 What IS BODY MAPPING? 🌟 A person's BODY MAP is their perception, understanding, and experience of their own body shape and size, and how and where their own joints move and how their body functions. Sometimes we have an accurate sense of our body map and sometimes not. ALL of us (including horses) learn to compensate to accommodate our perception of our body. Body mapping provides an anatomical underpinning for understanding balance and movement.

How does Body Mapping help us and our horses???
In order for our own body to function in wellness AND in order for us to allow our horses to do what we "think" we are asking, we must take responsibility for what our body is actually presenting.
Body mapping helps us be more comfortable and aware of our own bodies, which helps us communicate more clearly with our horses, as well as give insight as to why our horses may be doing certain things in their bodies; their body language, movement, behavior, etc….
This workshop is ABSOLUTELY open and recommended for non-horse people and horse people alike. Actually, this allows or dogs to be more able to understand what we want.....GREAT for agility participants.
Even if people have not taken part in our previous Body Mapping classes, this will be "basic" enough to allow the body to respond.
Does your back get sore: sweeping the floor, vacuuming, picking poop, pulling weeds??? let's change that....
Diane will share 2 of the main "antagonists" to us staying pain free.
Please come to find ways to feel better and go about your day to day doings in a more efficient way, with more energy, less soreness.

Understanding how habitual patterns of movement, posture, compensation, re-emerges after Lay-up, Time off, etc.
Learn how to make observations to answer the frequently confusing question of "why" is my horse off/lame/uncooperative?"
Discover universal truths and awarenesses of HOW we can guide a horse to a Healthy, Functional use of their body, mind, spirit even post injuries or time off.
There are SO many things for us to be aware of and responsible about regarding WHY "rehab" is necessary and how we can prevent injury in the first place.
Diane helps each horse and rider progress forward and NOT FALL into the same detrimental habits that created the reason for: starting over, laying up, then bringing "back into work.” This will give awarenesses of how to re-establish health, well-being, and longevity.
Learn to observe the Whole Horse with new eyes; educated eyes and awareness, as to what created the "situation" in the first place (THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT.)
Do you have a horse who heals and then has the same or another "Lameness/health issue" appear as you bring back into work?
You have been given the permission to start "light work" again?????

Auditor for two days: $125
