Once the battles are over, we'll keep the music going with a jam, cyphers, dancing, and party vibes as we celebrate 17 years of Diamonds In The Rough. Whether you're battling or just coming to support, stay, connect with the community, and celebrate with us. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase for those of legal drinking age.

Open styles with street dance music.
For female youth 16 years and under.
Prelims on Friday, August 14th. The top 8 dancers will battle in 7 to Smoke format on the main day Saturday, August 15th.
Battle tickets give full access to BOTH EVENT DAYS!

Join the Diamonds in the Rough Crew as our hip hop dancers share their own flavor, knowledge, and experience. Representing different generations of hip hop, they'll guide you through foundations, groove, freestyle, musicality, and the culture that continues to inspire us all.
1:45 - 3:15PM - LITE FEET
Hype Girl Tune, also known as The Queen of Lite Feet is a street dancer, choreographer, and community hero recognized as the leading female ambassador of the Harlem born Lite Feet dance movement. She works extensively as a community leader and mentor, educating the youth of NYC in Lite Feet and the Harlem Shake. Hype Girl has worked and danced alongside artists such as Alicia Keys, Doug E. Fresh, and Fatman Scoop. As well as working with brands like Nike and Rebok to globally showcase the authenticity and history of Lite Feet and the Harlem Shake! We’re so excited to have her be a part of our event, Vancouver get ready to get EDUCATED in our upcoming workshops!
