Dialogue Editing Masterclass with Logan Romjue
About this Event
Join 5x Emmy-nominated Dialogue Editor Logan Romjue (Invincible, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, Gabby’s Dollhouse, Diary of a Wimpy Kid) for a masterclass exploring the art and craft of Dialogue Editing.
Through a live in-depth demonstration of their process, Logan will share an inside look at the techniques and workflows they use to bring both live-action and animated performances to life, covering mic selection, AAF organization, deep cleaning, audio repair and noise reduction, refining performances, maintaining clarity and consistency, and prepping dialogue for the next stages of post-production.
The session will highlight applications of tools that Logan uses every day, including Avid Pro Tools and plugins such as iZotope RX, Antinode Clear, dxRevive, Auto-Align Post by Sound Radix, and Undertone by Audiokid. Participants will gain practical insight into the creative decisions that shape professional dialogue editing, with time for questions and discussion.
Whether you’re an aspiring dialogue editor, student, or post-production professional, this masterclass is for you!

About WAM
Women's Audio Mission courses focus on increasing the gender balance in audio production and technology sectors since less than 5% of the population employed in these sectors are women and gender-diverse individuals. There are limited spots available in our classes, and they often sell out, so we ask that if you are not woman-identified (cisgender or transgender), nonbinary, or gender-expansive, you reconsider enrolling in the class. We will not turn anyone away, but please be mindful that if you take up a seat in the class, that is one less woman, non-binary, or gender-expansive individual that we can serve. We thank you for your understanding in advance and for joining us in our mission to advance women and girls in music production and the recording arts.
