The Diabetes Support and Movement Group meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at Wellness House: Support Group 1:00–2:00 pm followed by Movement 2:00–3:00 pm. The program is free (donations welcome) and offered in partnership with 509 Nutrition & Diabetes Care. RSVP or ask questions at (509) 575-6686.This event is for people with type 1 or type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, caregivers, and supporters seeking peer support, practical self-care tips, and gentle, diabetes‑safe exercise. Expect a peer-led discussion and occasional short educational segments from 509 Nutrition & Diabetes Care during the support hour, then modified, low‑impact movement (chair exercises, balance, light strength) with adaptations for all mobility levels. Bring water, comfortable clothing and shoes, and any glucose supplies or fast‑acting carbs you may need; donations and volunteers to help with setup and check‑in are welcome.
