Free Diabetes Wellness Event & Back-to-School Giveaway

Choose Healthy Life National, in partnership with Insulet, invites you to a free outdoor Diabetes Wellness Event at the Bed-Stuy Community Garden.

This event is open to everyone, including people with prediabetes or diabetes, caregivers, family members, friends, community members, and church leadership. Whether you are managing diabetes, supporting a loved one, or simply want to learn more about healthy living, diabetes technology, nutrition, and wellness resources, this event is for you.

Participants who attend the wellness event will also receive first access to our Back-to-School Giveaway, while supplies last.

What to Expect

• A hands-on nutrition activity focused on sprouting, gardening, and growing healthy foods
• A fun outdoor dance fitness class for all experience levels
• Education on diabetes technology and wellness resources
• Free blood sugar screenings
• Insulet representatives on-site to provide information and answer questions
• Community wellness support and additional screening opportunities
• Light refreshments and hospitality
• First dibs on available back-to-school supplies and giveaway items

Registration Required

We kindly ask each participant to pre-register and complete the pre-event survey during registration. This helps us prepare for your visit and ensures that we have enough materials, resources, refreshments, and giveaway items available.
