Join us as we celebrate La Virgen De Guadalupe the only way we know how, through a block party at Hope Community Center. Enjoy live entertainment, stories from our neighbors, and free food as our communal offerings as we honor the Virgin of Guadalupe at the grand opening of our sanctuary at HOPE Community Center in her honor and dedicated to The Queer and Trans Immigrants of Central Florida (QTI’s, HOPE Community Center).

This space is dedicated to the queer and trans immigrant community, ensuring everyone feels welcomed and celebrated. As artist Kassanndra Santiago says, “This sanctuary is a place free from hate, where anyone can sit and find enlightenment. As queer folks we often live and navigate through trauma, often times because of adjacent negative religious experiences growing up or lack of spiritual connection. I started this project for a beautification and mural in January of 2025 because this sanctuary is a needed place for EVERYONE, especially queer folks, to sit and find peace. It is my love letter to the Virgen and to the community.”
